- Single occupancy : 470 Euros surcharge.

- Non-cooking partners are welcomed and offered shared room and meals.  

- Additional night with breakfast (prior or after the cooking session).

"JUST COOKING" IN PROVENCE or ON THE COTE D'AZUR

4 hands-on cooking classes, dinners/wines, market of Provence, your cookbook, etc.

ONE DAY COOKING CLASS¹
190 Euros per cooking participant 
Welcome party, hands-on cooking class, dinner with wines, Diplôma ceremony.

Any week available from February to November & New Year's week 
Sessions begin on Monday afternoon, and end on Saturday at noon.  
Note: May, June, July, August and September are "high season" months in Provence and Côte d'Azur. Please, book in advance!

A 500 Euros deposit save you a space 
(A 1000 Euros deposit may be required for special events or tailor-made sessions.)

RATES & BOOKING, GENERAL CONDITIONS:

Deposit: A 500Euros deposit will save you a space. In some cases a 1000Euros deposit is required (special events, tailor-made sessions). Reservations will be confirmed by a booking form upon receipt of deposit. If you make the initial reservations less than 60 days before the date of session, full payment is due. 
One Day Cooking Class: Deposit is not required. Payment is due 90 days prior to the class.

Final payment: Due 60 days prior to arrival date. If payment is not received at the due date, reservation will be subject to cancellation and forfeiture of full deposit.  

Cancellations: Prior to final payment date: deposit is non-refundable unless somebody can fill your space at the same conditions . Within 60 days of arrival date: a) deposit is non refundable, b) final payment (including any applicable extra charges) is non-refundable unless somebody can fill your space at the same conditions. Cancellation due to medical reasons can be covered by Travel & Medical insurance which is strongly recommended for your added protection and convenience, and to protect yourself against cancellation charges. We accept no responsibilities for those items. Full refund will be made if the culinary session is canceled by Philippe B. Gion for lack of minimum of participants per session (minimum 4) or for any major reason beyond his control.

Responsibility: Philippe B. Gion intervenes as a teaching Chef and not as a travel agent. He shall assume no responsibility in any way for any injury, loss, accident, or delay that may be caused by either reason or default of any company, agent or person engaged in carrying our arrangements or other contractor rendering or providing services for the culinary or art sessions. We strongly recommend that the participants obtain insurance covering full medical expenses, personal accident, accidental loss, public liability and damage to property. We do not accept any liability for death or injury arising as a result of the full holiday (including transfers & transportation that we offer as a complimentary service). Philippe B. Gion reserves the right to change the cooking or art program and/or substitute services or B&B of equal quality without prior notification. Participants to any culinary or art session fully understand those General Conditions and agree with them.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Closest airport in Provence:
Marseille-Marignane airport is one hour drive to/from our Culinary Centers, or to/from  Avignon. 
Major rental car and taxi facilities are extensive and convenient to the Marseille-Marignane airport.

Closest train station in Provence:
Avignon TGV station is about 40 minutes drive to & from our Culinary Centers and about 10 minutes drive to & from downtown Avignon. Major rental car and taxi facilities are extensive and convenient to the new Avignon. TGV station.  

TGV schedule and tickets:
They are available online at: www.raileurope.com/us/. 
Once you are on this website click on train tickets. This website will also deliver the tickets to any US address.
You may also visit the official French Railways Company (Sncf) website at:  www.voyages-sncf.com.
For a best bargain, try to purchase your tickets approximately 60 days before the date of departure. 

Travel tips:
Paris TGV (fast train) terminals are located in Paris airport (Roissy CDG) as well as in Paris downtown (Gare de Lyon). TGV trip between Paris and Avignon is  2.40 hours!
If you have heavy luggage, think to book a lower deck seat on the TGV. 
For your comfort, we suggest that you book First class tickets as the price difference between coach and first class can be minimal.
When at the train station, don’t forget to valid (composter) your tickets before boarding.
